A man is being chased by a lion in the jungle.

As he gets tired and feels he can't run anymore he stands still and prays.

'GOD WOULD YOU PLEASE MAKE THIS
LION A CHRISTIAN!'

As requested, God makes the lion a Christian.
As it reaches him, the lion kneels down and prays;

'THANK YOU LORD FOR PROVIDING THIS
MEAL. BLESS AS I EAT. AMEN'

Moral of the story ? Be Specific.

LOL!

Nice post Prince234.

I need some more time to think about it, but what comes to my mind immediately is the "Hypocrisy of Christianity"

At the risk of offending many (Including my very Christian mother) -- I think Christianity, and all religion for that matter is JUNK!

FYI

Now that I have sprinkled oil into the fire -- let's have a discussion.

Do you respect this:

Here is what religion has brought us:

1. Christians slaughtering pagans (315 - 6th century)

2. Christians slaughtering Muslims (Crusades)

3. Muslims slaughtering Christians (Crusades)

4. Christians torturing and killing "heretics" (Inquisition, witch trials)

5. Christians burning books, heavy metal records, etc.

6. Muslims calling for the death of an author they didn't like (Rushdie)

7. Christians supporting slavery on biblical grounds (~ American Civil War)

8. Christians opposing suffrage on biblical grounds

9. Muslims calling for death to all Christians and Jews (cartoon rage)

10. Jews and Muslims killing each other (from the origin of Israel to present)

11. Christians bombing abortion clinics

12. Muslim terrorism in America (WTC, 9/11)

13. Christians slaughtering Jews (throughout history)

14. Christians slaughtering Native Americans

15. Christians & Muslims slaughtering AFRICANS

....that Lion is a Christian alright!

This is probably not the intended moral of this story. My thoughts are that the lion is an animal that eats other animals. What I think seperates animals from man is that animals don't know the difference between right and wrong, they don't have moral values. I think animals aren't capable of doing evil deeds, or good deeds, because they don't know the difference.

Of course, we don't know much about animal intelligence, many animals are hard to figure out. But my cat seems to have no moral values. Smiley
