Werrason is reported to be in a Paris studio finalising work on his world album 'Sans Poto'( Sans poteau ) and the group album 'Mayi ya Sika'(Temps présent) which are expected to be released end of this year!On the other hand i thought San Poto was released already or is it just unfinshied work that someone put on Werra's skyblog?

Other news is that Werrason's soloist and Artistic Director,Flam Kapaya who was initially reported to have stayed behind in Paris to finalise work on the group album named above is now almost comfirmed as having left Wenge Maison Mére as he never joined his colleagues in the recent concerts they just did!Flam stayed behind late last year when Werra was on another Euro tour,i wonder what he's gonnabe doing now, three likely moves 1.Becoming a solo artist withhis own band,2.Become a session musician or 3. he's gonna join Koffi's Quartier Latin as he has been on Koffi's 'wanted' list for a very long time, infact about 2 years ago Flam turned down an offer from Koffi to join QL,the reported figure offered to him at the time in Dublin was around Euro 8,000

Not world album Mayi Ya Sika PNK but sans poto. Anyway too bad Flam has left. I am now yet to prove if werra can rise from these ashes. I was going to see Flam going to Koffi but due to the suspention, no so i think he will just form a band or become a sessional player.

According to the article i was reading Werrason is doing final touches on the worl album(San Poto)and group album (Mayi Ya Sika). No one seems to have the world album so it's probably not yet out.Talking about Koffi, his suspension together with Wazekwa and Djo was was upheald so he's out on the local scene for 6 months,i suspect he'll do a long tour of Europe and the US to reciprocate for the loss back home.

Since the departure of Ferre and company,Werra's music has gone down,he largely depends on sebenes to sell his music, his rhumbas are just below par and can you even imagine that Heritier Watanabe has been in the band for a long time and has not even done a single song in the band when he is capable of doing,it's good that he has been given chance in the new album. He has a song or two i hear.
Here is another taste of what is to come in the new album and listen carefully

Now that sounds like Identite d' amour of BCBG's Chai Ngenge and a little bit of QL's Binda Bass' song Moustiquaire on the album Danger De Mort but it sounds good and i look forward to this album!

Lets accept, Werra will never have a team like Bill Clinton and company. Period.

That's right but Werra has felt the impact,he seems so uncertain as evidence by his constant auditions and recruitments and sackings. Grin

Sham u know Y i say this?? U call Werra a man that easily rises from the ashes but he has failed to get that old team back in 3 solid yrs and his productions are not as good. Maybe he needs to call them again and offer 1b USD to all of them so they accept.
