We welcome all Frenchmen and Frenchwomen.

This is a brand new forum, and we are still working on many other features which will make it even more enjoyable for all.

Cheers!

Great! Looks like we have Kenya onboard.

We would love your suggestions on Kenyan Music. We are not too familiar with Kenyan styles.

Your input is welcome.

MBOTE'

PEACE

my name is sha-mecca but you can call me ms bazu. bazu is my middle name.
my mother (r.i.p.) is from mbanza ngungu, congo. my father is from haiti. but he grew up in mbanza. i'm from new york myself. i grew up on soukous but only recently have i really been able to appreciate it. my father has a new radioshow out of brooklyn called TAMBOUR D'AFRIQUE. it broadcasts on www.radiotriomphe.com on saturdays 10pm - 12am (EASTERN STANDARD TIME; NY)  i recently launched a blog supporting the radio station in effort to get more fans listening, old and hopefully some new. i'm glad to have found this site. someone from another forum sent me a link. i'll be around. kotikala na malamu, peace.

Welcome ms bazu. We will include your radio link in our radio stations page.

If you know of any other "Black" radio stations, please let us know ....and while you are at it, could you enlighten us on Haitian Music and Carribean music in general ...especially how it is related to Africa.

Take a look at the section of this forum labeled Caribbean & Afro America(s) Connection - What needs to be added there?
