TUTU KALUDJI FORMS BAND AND SIGNS CONTRACT WITH BRACONGO

News coming from certain quarters within the BCBG fanatics is that immediate past Chef D' Orchestra(Band Vice President)Tutu Kaludji who recently left BCBG due to internal differences with the Band President and owner JB Mpiana, is reported to have formed a band and is currently doing rehearsals at his house in Ngiri Ngiri in Congo's Kinshasa.Tutu and his band are due to perform at the famous annual fair FIKIN under the official sponsorship of Bracongo the brewers of SKOL lager.JB Mpiana and his band have always been under the wings of Bracongo rivals and probably the biggest brewery company in Congo,Bralima who are the brewers of Primus Lager.

It's also heard that Tutu Kaludji seems to be getting financial back up from reknowned Diamond dealer Didi Kinuani who sponsors many bands in Congo.Tutu and Kinuani seem to have had good relations all along despite him Didi having fallen out with JB so Tutu is now regarded as a traitor as this Kinuani was once JB's good friend and biggest sponsor beside Jose Kongolo but not any more as Kinuani married JB's ex-wife Hamida Shatur.This was not taken lightly by JB as it gave the obvious impression that his ex-wife had a relationship with Kinauni prior to him divorcing her.JB and Hamida had three children in their marriage.Recently,Hamida had a child by her new hubby Kinuani but unfortunately the tot died after drowning in a swimming pool at their residence according to a story i read on one of the blogs by Congolese music lovers.

Other news is that long time JB's pal and journalist DJO KA KABENGELE is reported to be in some sort of friction with JB.He tried to involve himself and advise JB about his fans feelings regarding the whole affair of Tutu and the old band members who the fans want to be dumped in preference for the younger band members who are undeniably better in all ways than the older guys.

If the DJO KA and Kinuani issues are true then JB is set to go on the downward spiral,I think i would love to see JB's Management of Mbuta Kis and Roger Ngandu go,they have outlived their usefulness,i don't think they give JB the advice he needs or it's either JB himself is stubborn.

I think JB is stubborn Mudala......Cant he see that the PPU is more vibrant?? If EMO can loose paicience,, then its bad mudala.

I think the money he's got makes him think he can't finish,he should have maintained a professional relationship with the likes of Kibens and JDL so that he could discipline them or tell them off when they are lazy but he didn't now he fails to control them coz they are his mates.

Technically speaking JB's fans are sort of his (JB's) idols as well, without them he is nothing! Hie hie may be there is some truth in what EMO (mistakenly) said.

Don't worry about that EMO,that is common,i spot several mistakes of my own and edit them later,no one is immune,infact even when i edit some of it is still mixed up but at least the message is clear enough so don't you worry,we get it loud and clear!

He's capable of doing both,he actually joined Wenge Musica as a singer but am sure since there was already Aimelia and JB who could sing with that tone,he was taken to the rap section which was manned by Ekokota,Ferre Gola has also said he was taken to that department when he joined Wenge Musica just before it split up.

We have come to understand that Tutu planned his exit from Wenge BCBG a long time ago.They can form bands so quickly coz they are backed by big time millionaires such as Didi Kinuani,Tcha Tcho Mbala,Kadozo Mwamba etc.I think Tutu will animate and sing,he's good at both,i like the way he imitates Papa Wemba.

In the last few months,the fans have been calling for JB to integrate his reserve band populary known as PPU into the main band and also for JB to lay of ineffective singers in the band Wenge BCBG who have been with him since he broke away from Wenge Musica BCBG.

The situation has worsened coz each time the senior singers go on stage,they get booed by the public so Tutu Kaludji being Chef D' Orchestra at the time sympathised with the fans and came up with a dossier to have the senior players suspended.He announced the suspensions but JB's spokeman Rodger Ngandu said Tutu did not get the blessings of the Band President JB.
A few days later,the concerned senior singers came up with their own dossier claiming that Tutu Kaludji was fond of frequenting Didi Kinuani's residence.Didi Kinuani is a diamond dealer(multi milllionaire)who sponsors many artists and organisations in Congo.He used to be good buddies and major sponsor and fan of JB but they fell out when he Didi married JB's ex-wife Amida Shatur.Amida has three children with JB.After all this,Tutu Kaludji felt let down by JB and packed his bags and immediately started recruiting from his home in Ngiri Ngiri in Kinshasa.

A couple of weeks ago,Tutu had a setback when 4 of his band members got seriously injured in a road accident.Tutu is appealing for financial assistance to cover his employees medical bills.

On another note,JB Mpiana has wished good luck to Tutu saying he was with him for a very long time so he knew at one point Tutu was gonna leave.JB has also promised to look into the wishes of his fans as he cannot be successful without his fans.

Impossible,Tutu is very 'small' and besides his name has been tarnished already for running to Didi Kinuani,every JB fan sees him as a traitor but off course some of us will buy his music and i know some of the JB fans will attend his shows too but he won't be as major as JB or Werra!
