This is very rare traditional music registered in Mali (in Bandiagara Valley, ex-French Sudan) inside The Dogon tribe.
Only 500 vinyl copies were made in 1954.
Two faces of The Dogon are shown here through their specific music : Life and Death.
Photos with French explanations are included with the "DogonRituelFuneraire" file.
This is a rare testimony of their culture. The Dogon are fascinating people.
