Hello everyone,

I am part of a forum that focuses on the annual Eurovision Song Conest (ESC) in which each European nation, as well as close outlying nations, have the opportunity to send a new composition performed by either established or up and coming talent that competes for the title of best song in Europe. It has been referred to as the Olympics of music and is also noted for launching the careers of Julio Iglesias, ABBA, and Celine Dion.

On the ESCtoday forum, we have a subsection called FSC (Forum Song Contest). In this contest, members of the forum sign up for their respective nations and submit new music on a monthly basis which is then listened to by all involved in the contest. At the close of each month, members will have the chance to submit their top 10 songs and award points from 1-8, 10, and finally 12 points for their favourite. In the end, we all elect the best song for that month.

What I would like to do is extend an invitation to anyone here who would be interested in being a part of our contest and representing their favourite music from their respective nation. This contest offers the opportunity for you to share your culture through your music and to become introduced to music from other nations. We currently have over 30 nations from Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas. In order to be part of this, you must hold citizenship of the country you wish to represent or claim close cultural ties that have allowed you to be well versed with that nations music scene.

As a preview, here is a recap of the songs that are taking part in this edition:

I hope to see you there! Smiley
