BITUMBA YABA BABA!

AH,C'EST BON!!
The soloist Pitchou Santiago as i hear them call is an excellent guitarist,i wonder who he has been playing with all along as i first heard about him in this same album ''Nkunzi Lele'' by Papa Wemba and his Europe based group ''Viva tendance''.Papa has two bands, this one playing Viva and the Kinshasa based one now called Bana Malongi formerly ''Nouvelle Ecriture''

I have also had the same feeling about the soloist on ''Nkunzi Lele''. It was done well. PNK, was alpachino in Papa Wembas band and if yes, is he the atalaku on ''Nkunzi Lele'' ?? I am ignorant on these lines.

I never bought this album when it came out coz it didn't impress me first time but now am into it and will get it when am in London.I believe Alpatchino is still part of Wemba's clan but Wemba alternates the use of his band members who are many,he has 2 bands Nouvelle Ecriture now called Bana Malongi(kin based) and Viva Tendance formerly Viva la Musica(Europe based).

...Pitchou is an EL PARIS grad...you can here him better in the double album EBOULMENT...If you listen to Z-3 Clemenstone of that album you'll change your attitude about Marie Paul Grin

Cheers Qaisari, that's why i say that Eboulement is better than Marie Paul's newly released album ''Yebela Vision'',i was listening to another song over the weekend and i heard Pitcho being mentioned again, maybe he's a session artist  now?

...so far the session artists (to me) have done a better job on Eluka makambo and Baila Ngando...if i were JB or Werra i would release two maxis one in Kin and the other with the session...competition yields creativity.

That's right Q,i also wonder why JB doesn't fly to Paris alone and work on Chemin de Fer there with the PIPIYU boys coz initially that's what he had planned to do when he flew them there but he left them there after concerts and never went back for several years now some of them are with other artists whilst the remaining ones still team up and release excellent albums,i have just managed to get a few songs from their last album,Positive Energy,it's da bomb.
