Hi

I'm running this site:

www.wimwam.net

And I'm looking for some good writers for the blogs section.  Essentially, what we're looking for is some well-written personal opinions by writers across the world on their local and regional music scenes.  Particularly valuable would be a write up on any of the styles from Cameroon, whether it's Makossa, Assiko, Bikoutsi, Makouné, or Bolobo, or anything else you can think of.

If you are running your own project, then I would be happy to link to it through our website.

As you will see from our website we are running a project that focuses on the music and musicians of our local scene, many of whom have come from or travelled to places all over the world.  We would be very interested to feature articles from people based in Cameroon who can tell us more about their music from their own point of view.

If it's the sort of thing that might interest you then get in touch!

Thanks

Luke Mosse.

Luke,

Welcome.

Other than: Makossa, Assiko, Bikoutsi, Makouné an Bolobo -- what other Music styles do exist in Cameroon, ....and the rest of West Africa, North of the Congos?

Hi Admin

I don't know what other styles exist because I live here in Bristol!

Thanks
