Whats wrong with these celebrities?? Do they have to always fix themselves?? Are they humans or what??

Pretty much. Look, a lot of them have to look good as part of their job. Madonna's career is like that. Her career is built on image. She has countless style, sexiness, etc. awards to her name... so every little inch of what people see on her is part of her work.

Well yeah, but that which you quoted me saying is a fact. She's VH1's sexiest artist ever, MTV's sexiest of the 80's and 90's... and I'm sure of the 2000's too, they just haven't confirmed it yet.

Just last year she became the oldest person ever in history of the BritAwards to be named sexiest artist of the year, at the age of 48!

Her and her hubby won best-dressed, and she won best-dressed on the red carpet... etc. You see? She's still got it!

Erm... you are talking to a brit. ha ha ha!
Plus, don't tell me you are trying to deny timeless beauty? I mean sure, she's not everyone's cup of tea. She pisses people right off, she looks different from most, and she clearly is different. But these are my favourite characteristics of the woman, especially that she has a need to be truthful, even if it offends people and is seen as taboo. I can relate to that. I guess I do that myself.

My Two Most Favourite Madonna Videos Ever!

Secret. Seriously sexy and very very provocative without saying anything that could provoke anyone. Very groovy, and slow, and sensual. Check this out if you like really deep bass and deep voices.

Bedtime Story. Not my favourite song, but a really really cool vid. One of her most artistic pieces, and definately her most experimental video. Recieved very well by the public. Also the second-most expensive vid ever... the third is her again, with Die Another Day.

The World Still Cares About The Ageing Superstar

Apparently, Madonna is to leave her 24 year relationship with Warner Bros. She will move onto a more lucrative deal with LiveNation, the group that is currently promoting her tours. WB argued that $120 million is way to much to keep the 49 year old star, and said that LiveNation could have her for that.

That didn't sit well with the public. As soon as WB released that statement, the stocks plummeted from an already all-time low of $9.60 per stock, to a ridiculous $8.20, clearly pointing out that Madonna's age does not matter. However, as soon as LN said that they would sign her for an amazing $120 m deal, their stocks went up from %13.50 to $14.90.

WB argued that it does not make economic sense to give a popstar at the age of 49 such a large deal. Madonna will be 60 by the time her Live Nation contract runs out.

Madonna is still obligated to release her 2008 album with WB, and a greatest hits compilation... LN will have 3 albums plus tours under their name, and it is unknown who Madonna plans to release her 25th anniversary boxset with.

A truly amazing performance.

I was lucky enough 2 attend the Live 8 Concert in Hyde Park, London. Of course, Madonna completely stole the show... A touching performane of Like A Prayer, a goovy performance of Music, and an amazingly electrifying performance of Ray Of Light. Enjoy...

The London live 8 performance was spectacular, excellent vocals from her and the London choir group backing her,i think it's better to watch a live(concert) performance by her instead of her usually weird videos.

Oh, Madonna... What a chameleon you are!

In a matter of two years, Madonna went from 'The sexiest 47-year-old in the world' to 'The most muscular 48 year old in the world'.

In 2005, Lady Madonna came back from her whole American Life debacle, with her all time career low, to Confessions On A Dancefloor, playing it relatively safe, but showing people she's still got it:

In 2006, COADF was sizzling, and after a while it cooled down, in early 2007, there was the baby issue, and boy, Madonna didn't take it well. I can say, for the first time ever, she looked scary!

But of course, this is Madonna we're talking about, so it couldn't have gotten too bad, if she had anything to do with it.

But... lately, she's been looking really awful when she's not at some or other reward ceremony. And the haters took it upon themselves to criticise her badly for that. But, alas to the haters, no longer. On the next picture, Madonna was seen just before going to her pal Justin Timberlake's concert, looking amazing! No, she wasn't even dressed up. She's just back, again! Ha!

Wow! She can, still!  Cool

Secret.
This one is good especially with that nice sounding acoustic guitar and not too much synthe/keyboard sounds and the video is not as weird as all other videos by her.

Bedtime Story.
This one though you say was her most expensive one to make is crap to me,though rich in art i just don't understand why she chooses extremely weird themes to her videos, you just cannot relate the lyrics to the video, impossible,i wonder who her Artistic Director is?? Grin

The last video was Bedtime Story, off Bedtime Stories, 1994. It was, erm very strangley artistic...
It was one of the first Madonna videos that Madonna had complete control over. The Director is Mark Romanek. It was his job to make the shots imitate the paintings of Frida Kahlo, Madonna's favourite post-modern painter. Madonna has almost got the entire Frida Kahlo collection.

The theme of the video is actually very cryptic, but I do understand it. Bedtime Stories and the semi-title track, Bedtime Story, is about taking a rest, and expressing yourself in the most cool way possible, with little explanation. In the first couple of lines from Bedtime Story, she says  "Today, is the last day, that I am using words". That was Kahlo's temprement too. She expressed herself through her paintings while being a very quiet woman. And the 'weirdness' of the video is justified by the line: "Leaving logic and reason". It is a strange expression of thought patterns and is completely unlogical. Almost a state of being high, without the drugs. And leaving reason, because it just is. There's no real explanation to the thoughts. I liken Madonna to Kahlo because, although her lyrics are sometimes simple, they do get her message across, and they are often just the products of random thoughts.

Basically, it's Madonna being completely Madonna in that it is illogical, random and completly unexpected.

But yeah, the first track is sexy, and very groovy. I suggest that if you like to kick off your shoes, and just sit back and think, buy Madonna's Bedtime Stories album. It's unlike Madonna's other albums because it isn't the type of record that makes you wanna get up and dance. Maybe you wanna get up and move, but not the usual dance stuff.

Although Madonna is very in control of her art, and her direction, Bedtime Stories is the most 'Madonna' album, as it reflects her personality very well, and it is completely directed, written and thought up by Madonna. She had more control over this album than any other. And that's why it's completely unsuitable for radio.

Cool. I'm glad I could help. Thanks.

Might I just suggest that you go for the stuff that the public critised the most. I find the stuff that people didn't really like to be the best, eg. Bedtime Stories, American Life, Like A Prayer and the stuff from the Re-Invention Tour. Oh yeah, and the Erotica. Erotica is really sexy. Also, what helps is... just imagine you were still in 1992 when you listen to Erotica. Apply what the world thought of sex back then to the CD, and you'll get the full effect.

Yeah! Music...

Those women are not just back-up dancers. And they're not British. They're Madonna's back up singers, Nicki and Donna... the two highest payed back up singers in history...

I knew Madonna was evil and powerful... but this is too far.

Madonna is joining LiveNation. She is leaving Warner Music. As she said she is leaving WMC, the shares dropped, and the company may have to close down. If big name artists leave their big name companies, they will either become independent or go to a newer, smaller company. Which means that those companies would make the material so impossible to pay for, or the artists that have complete control over their careers (like Madonna now has) can push the price up to whatever they want...

Madonna officially killed international music.

WOW!

I went onto the Madonna site and found this incredible remix. It's really good. It's of Hung Up. But here's why it's so special. It's off her Confessions Remixed release, Confessions On A Dancefloor, but remixed and made to sound a lot more like rock, having worked with Muse recently. But the thing that makes that special, is that there are only 15 thousand copies of Confessions Remixed out there. And what makes it more special, is that Madonna, herself, not some DJ, Madonna HERSELF remixed the release. She played DJ. Listen and be amazed!

Hey. If you thought Madonna's music videos are weird, then you haven't seen this one! It's the weirdest thing I ever did see. I haven't seen it before, and saw it on TV for the first time today! It's from Ray Of Light. It's a really kick-arse song, with a strange vid.

It's Nothing Really Matters

The next one is a bit more normal, but it's powerful and emotional. Also from RoL.

Great beats in both! Oh yes, and great breasts.  Grin
