Hello all lovely people...

I thought that I would start a thread about live shows and gigs in SA, in general... so that they don't need their own thread. I hear the 46664 concert is at Ellis Park on 1 Dec. Too bad I can't be there, I would really liked to have seen Madiba and the great artsts such as Razorlight, Live and the best, the one and only ANNIE LENNOX!

I'm really bumbed I don't get to see her live. But she'll be in England in Feb and will sing her song, 'SING' with all the female artists that sang with her, Sugababes, Celine Dion, etc... the normal boring crew, and all though I'm not too crazy about them all, Madonna had a main part in the song as well...

The queen of pop and dance and the queen of electronica and rock... together... in ONE SONG!
Ha ha ha! But they seriously needed some testosterone (the only testosterone that they got was from Madonna and Annie)

Yeah. So. Watched 46664 with my mates yesterday, and night, and they were very impressed (being brits and all) that it was so world-class. I think Corrine Bailey Rae and Loyiso was bloody brilliant. And Annie Lennox was nothing less than she usually is, which is the queen of wherever she goes or does.

And Mandela! What a man! True legend. And plus, the concert was for a good cause, so... bril.

I farking loved it!

I watched it as well but I missed Loyiso...I didn't see him perfoming,,,damn!!! I think the crowd was fantastic...Johny Clegsp was damn amazing! I also enjoyed watching was it live or something that band with the cute bald headed guy, i thought they were brilliant as well & mmmhhh....Ludacris, Just Jinjer mmmhhh....I think that guy (the leader) needs a make over, he looks scary . . . like he's on drugs. & Jamelia was so boring, she had the most terrible outfit i've ever seen. & that Brit girl...damn she looks so young & innocent + she's cute! Oh, & Peter Gabriel did well. I hope everyone got the message though. AIDS kills.

Well... you're right. Ha! At 46664 next year, she's going to be the headliner, and so is Annie Lennox (go figure) and Queen too! It's like an 80s baby's dream! Ha ha ha!
