...maybe if you watch Reddy Amisi featuring Adjani-Fikin concert and saw the vocal display, you'll change all this talk

I have so much respect for Adjani but his voice is no longer the same, there was a time when i rated him equal to Ferre but not anymore, his voice breaks a lot,he's no longer a 'Tabu Ley photocopy' but i still respect him,Ferre has his own style and that's why he's incomparable!

...if only he can stay off the Bhang
...but seriously if you see this clip, Adjani's vocal range is on a different level even Amisi took a back-seat...

One thing i have observed is Werrason is not comfrtable allocating a good singer and one close t him interms of command. He is scared of being toppled
Maybe this ka boy deserves Chief D Ochestra:

Adjani is simply great!Where the hell was the rhythm guitarist,i can only hear the solo guitar's noise which is even making the vocals faint!
I have listened again, the rhythm guitarist was doing a bad job coz he is producing his rhythm by playing in mi-solo hence that loud rhythm.

Adjani, Serge Mabiala, Baby Ndombe, JDT and Ferre Golla were just the best of the Wenge2. Its a pity some of these guys feel going solo, may earn them big fame. I would imagine how a band formed by these chaps would sound and compete with WMM, WBCBG and QL of today. They cant just see that logic and i imagine Y.

They have tried it,remember Les Marquis de Maison Mére by soloist Japonaise and vocalists Bill and JDT Mulopwe backed by singer Serge Mabiala, guitarists Picas,Mimiche Bass etc, they couldn't agree on who was gonna be leader of the band so shortly afterwards a few of them went solo,Mimiche returned to Wenge MM whilst others are now session artists with JDT Mulopwe continuing with Les Marquis with new faces.

...some people are more comfortable behind the scenes. I was watching Kibuisa Mpimba Bruxelles concert and noticed that it was the first i have seen Adjani in outside Zaire...

Celezino is a fine singer but he could do better if he stopped screaming all the time the same goes for Fally Ipupa.I wonder when Celezino is gonna release his album, last time i heard he was in camp Japonaise/Serge Mabiala and they were working on an album,i haven't seen much from them apart from seeing them working as session artists.
