To those who are posting full, recent albums on this forum, I want to let you and the admin know that I object to this behavior. Post away with the out of print and commercially unobtainable stuff. Even I appreciate that.
PLEASE stop posting new albums like the new Veve album and the new KaRmapa album. PLEASE stop posting recent reissue packages such as the AUTHENTICITE CDs.

You are hurting the artists and when you're not doing that, you're hurting the music industry that makes great classics available. You are discouraging them from issuing the music that you and I love. You are even endangering this forum. Somebody might sue to close it down.

PLEASE! THINK BEFORE YOU POST!!!!!!

Hmm!

Thought they were all old stuff.

I do not object to the postings, but I need to hear (on this thread) from the two posters, regarding David's objections.

David,
As someone who buys huge amounts of African music I think you are overestimating the amount of Africans who patronize African music and websites. The question is how many Africans will even bother to download or listen to music posted on forums? Most Africans can be found on hip hop sites and listening to Jay-Z. Those of us who love African music will buy them anyway. Most consumers of African music are whites and most actually buy the music. I really doubt posting the music here is hurting anyone.
