Doing reference to Brian's Awesome Tapes from Africa, this is the title of an article Mute Magazine has published about African Music. Andy Moor from The Ex discusses the controversies of African music being so popular in the West. He discusses the important role of Awesome Tapes From Africa making available music that otherwise would remain unknown and opposes it to the exploitation of big 'world music' labels. The article is definitely worth reading.
