I am searching for a song and artist popular in W.African nightclubs in the 80's

Can anybody help me to find the name of a song and artist that was very popular in the nightclubs in Libreville, Gabon in the 1980's.
He was male and the song included the lines , ........The belgian? Huh

...The English????The French? Huh

I seem to remember some sort of military theme ?
It's a longshot I know, but it was a fantastic song and was really popular. Surely there must be some of you knowledgeable folks out there who will know it !
Here's hoping..........its driving me nuts trying to find it.
