Kenyan gospel musician Ringtone, who is currently riding high in the charts, found himself face to face with the police reality last Friday as he drove to the Village Market.According to the musician,he had just dropped a friend in town and was headed to the Village Market at about 7pm when his car suddenly ran out of fuel. Before he knew it,two police men approached him and asked him for his ID while the other decided to check out his car which had his nameinscribed on it."So you are the Ringtone,"one said,"Leo ni leo,"he added. The musician explains that as he tried to remove his ID from his wallet, the cops saw a bindle of cash and demanded for a bribe."They handcuffed and dragged me to their vehicle which was parked by the roadside and had two prostitutes in it."Once in there,he says, they made fresh demands for a bribe. One cop then ordered one of the hookers to make advances towards Ringtone as they watched, but it was all in vain-"Wewe msichana amsha hiyo kitu leo utatengeneza headlines kwa gazeti,"they said threatening to take him to Parklands Police Station as  he pleaded with them.He was later released
