The FIFA Women's World Cup 2007 is going on in China.

I am watching a very improved Nigerian team slugging it with Sweden.

Anybody else watching?

I saw ladies playing soccer on tv this morning but it didn't click to me that it was a major game.I hav great respect for the Arsenal female team of London, some ladies play just like men even the acrobatics they can do when they score!

I am watching 'Ghana Queens' vs Australia and I like what I am seeing.

The Ghanains an Nigerian ladies have borrowed a leaf from their male counterparts.

Soccer was a 'taboo' man's game until very recently in Africa -- the reason why the US women 'hijacked' it and won a couple of world cups.

From what I see -- that's about to change. They are not there yet, but total domination by African girls is definitely in the future of women's world cup soccer.

Meanwhile, the Brazilians are killing New Zealand.

It will be something to watch if and when Brazil meets Germany -- the two best teams in this tournament.
