feat. Fallycious boy!!
A freind sent me this link this morning....whatchu think of this clip Le Grand, I know ur not a great fan of this type of muzo but I think this is cool man! I had not seen this clip before. Fally seems to be more and more getting away from the usual traditional congoliz music style and into this hip hop thing. You should see congoliz young boyz in South Africa, have all become Fally-Ipupa wonna bees!!
They dress like him, walk like him, dance like him, .....I think the best of Fally is yet to come!!!lol

This is one sounds good coz it's not Fally's,he was just featured, the good thing is that he#s the one that used a rhumba touch leaving the other guys to do their R&B thing!

I think fally is also good with this new R&B thing/ Hiphop thing he seems to be doing. HE is also good with it, no offence. But u know what, am more and more starting to like Ferre more, coz Fally is starting to sound like a normal American musician, of which I see no point, coz if I want american songs/sound I know where to go!

..and this is the biggest joke,it can qualify for joke of the century,Fally will never be closer to a normal american musician(rapper)or R&B artist if that's what you're saying,he cannot even come close to AKON who is one of the few with direct links with africa to make it big in the states.

Fally will try by all means but he will never be like an american. It has to take him a good ten years of learning english and residing in the states.

There are several other foreign artists in America who have failed to make it big,not even those who were born their to foreigners have been heard so Fally basically has no chance to make it big with that kind of music,he is simply promoting chaps like Krys,Mokobe etc to those of us who never knew them until a few weeks ago and he will be known by fans of Mokobe and the like that's it!

I don know what u guys are on abt. Fally looks to be interested in heading that way (RnBcongolease)!! Look at songs like 100% love, his constant interest in collaborating and featuring with these hip hop guyz u mentioned or even the remix of droitchemin clips shows that that is his no1 love!!
While we cant expect him to hit the hip hop market big with his first album, giving him a window period of 10 years is going to the extreme, I say lets first see how his next album will sound like before writing him off as doomed!!! He is already sharing stage with international musicians, having concerts left right and centre, he's going places that one. And by the way u dont have to be an english speaker to be a successful hiphop artist

If that's what his heart tell him then let him do his thing,we know where to get proper music just like you said yourself, you know where to get real music!

What do you mean international musicians and which ones in particular, the only person i have seen sharing the stage with notable and successful international artists is Werrason.

Personally i didn't know all these chaps like Mokobe etc,i knew them about a month ago,i saw that Mambueni song a while back and i thought it was a one off from Fally.I wish him the best of luck with this R&B style music,it's gaining ground in Congo becuase a few people can now speak English and many of them can speak French, perhaps we should find a genre name for it!

Dint he recently perform at La Place de la Bastille (Paris) with other known musicians?? Why do you guys go on as if RnB success depend on knowing english? They are many african musicians who are now making it big while their lyrics are not necessarily ALL in english. I think its "African RnB" kie kie
Le Grand u just dont like fally, thats no may be

Yes he performed and was invited to perform like everyone else not that he organised the show himself and try to be honest with yourself, when did you know of chaps like Mokobe???I bet you don't know who he is unless you research on the internet, you just heard him singing with Fally and you got attracted just because Fally is in their isn't,moreover it's a known fact that most fans of Fally are women and they are trully infatuated with him,it's not his music they like!!

You have no idea!!!I am one person with a massive library of music of many artists including the ones i don't appreciate much coz i want to listen and judge so i can tell you now that i buy whatever Fally releases but am not into the crap he is getting into like R&B,if i want R&B i listen to the likes of R.kelly,Joe Thomas etc not some music made from bedroom studios like the ones these chaps are making.
By the way, look below what you wrote in this same thread
''I think fally is also good with this new R&B thing/ Hiphop thing he seems to be doing. HE is also good with it, no offence. Ain't it funny how you contradict yourself Miss Fallycious

No no, Look again! I said "
he IS GOOD
with this new R&B thing/ Hiphop thing he seems to be doing"!!! He is GOOD!! AND I ALSO SAID, THAT HE IS STARTING TO SOUND AMERICAN.
Meaning he IS GETTING THERE!!!
whatever he's doing seems to be working. lol. Lets just say that, If I want a good R'nB (american) album, I'd know where to go, and if I wanted some nice westernized congo music, I now know where to go too!! kie kie. There is no contradiction there.

YES AND??? Whether he is the one who organised the show or not, he performed there nonetheless.
Quote from: LGS

..Yes thats what fally feat. in his music has done to mokobe's fan base, it has now exposed him to fally's fans as well, thats what featuring on other peopls albums do. Am sure its vice versa as well, some of Mokobe's fans have now been exposed to fally and his target market keeps growing just like that.
Quote from: LGS
..moreover it's a known fact that most fans of Fally are women and they are trully infatuated with him,it's not his music they like!!
You know what they say..."if at first you dont succeed... re-define success"!!!
kie kie kie
If Fally doesnt succeed bcoz he is a good singer, dancer etc but manages to be a top artist becoz of his looks, he'll be Succeeding nonetheless!!
If his fans are most just women or young teenage boyz, they still count as fans anyway! And dont forget you are his fan as well since you buys his music and thus contribute to his rocket sale records kie kie
LGS, you have had this same long argument/Debate with people who have better congomuzo knowldge such as Yvone, strell etc and they dint manage to convince you, i cant do any better!
you just keep on doing your bit: supporting him by buying his music, the rest will take care of itself.

I would be much confortable if you avoid mentioning people who are unknown on this forum and by the way what do you mean ''people who have better congomuzo knowldge'',you mean better than you or me?
As for buying Fally's music,am sure gonna stop if this R&B crap will be in his albums,am better of sampling on the internet, that's the power of internet,Fally will certainly lose some fans and am sure he doesn't care neither do i.
