I don't think he has given his newly formed band a name yet maybe he will call the Orchestra Ezanga Kombo(no name) Grin

The song Cadena will be in his follow up album to Droit Chemin so i don't have it,i want to hear how it will sound like with his new back up band.

I haven't heard any further news about Fally's performance in SA.Fally has no chance this christmas, the albums to come from JB and Koffi will silence all, mark my words.

The current line up of Koffi's band is explosive,it's also good that Mbetenge has taken over as lead soloist,i think he is better than Mystique and Felly Tyson.Mystique played the Generique SWI and he did well too so Koffi is now where we wanted him to be,competing hard with the Wenges.

Who from the old QL is still with Koffi at the moment?! I would like to know that!

I read somewhere on one of the forums, some Koffiphiles & Koffipi(less), saying that they would like koffi to stop competing with Wenge and playing fast songs, as he is old and all.....apparently he should start acting his age! Whats ur thoughts on that?! lol

Koffi aint a great dancer anyway (cant dance in my opinion!), so its not like he makes some dirty or kind of moves (with the fast sebenes) that should otherwise be done by a younger person! Am a die hard Koffiphile, I think one of the few who even likes/loves the not so popular Danger De Mort & SWI!

You might not know them if you're not really a 'die hard' fan but Koffi still has Passe Kose(plays Mbonda or african drums)he has been with Koffi for more than a decade,he's the longest serving member then we hear Felly Tyson the lead soloist is back,he's an old timer too then there is Montana Kamenga,Shella Mputu,Mukusa Ya Mbua(ataluku with a hoarse voice),Mboshi Lipasa another old ataluku,Asso who first appeared in Skol Longitima and all the guitarists and instrumentalists who have been around before all those youngsters in the name of Les Mineurs were recruited.

Koffi cannot dance and has never in his career been seen dancing big time,he does the odd shaking up here and there and i don't blame him,he has made his money and that's why he employs those youngsters.I think he should carry on producing the new music he has ventured into coz competition is healthy infact he's only 52 or 53 so why not.

Danger De Mort is a good album except the sound quality was poor compared to other old Koffi albums, maybe it's coz he's no longer working with big names such as Phillipe Guez etc, they are the masters of sound programming but the quality of sound in the follow single to DDM is good(SWI).

I understand Gypson is still with Koffi,he was left behind in Europe to sort out personal issues ad is due to retun to Congo and rejoin Koffi who is about to embark on a world tour.

I don't know this Elvis Junior you've mentioned above but if you mean Junior Kingombe then he has left QL,he hasn't appeared for the band for a while. The other guy Soleil Wanga is here in U.K prpearing his solo album,he appears a lot on OBE televisoin on a Congolese Musical show that comes every saturday presented by Tyty Ilunga.
