I haven't bought the album yet but i have listened to quite a few songs from this album and i must say he's really going places. He has added a little bit of western and arabic touches to this album and like the title of the album say's,he's a figure of style coz his style is working right.

I was reading one guy on africambiance(Grand Mokonzi) saying Mirage learnt a lot from Mopao within a short period of time, could you EMO (since i have seen on AA)tell Grand Mokonzi that Mirage Supersonic was taught by former Wenge BCBG Chef D' Orchestra Alain Mpela Afande.Mirage is a former member of Generation A of Alain Mpela,he was stolen by Koffi but didn't stay long at QL neither did he do much in terms of singing at QL,now Mopao should be regretting having neglected the boy after stealing him from Afande, the other boy that started with Afande in Koffi's band is Guellor, the one singing Mirage's parts, the Wenge Clan has produced almost the whole current generation of those that are making it in style on the music scene!!

I like the Tempo of MON BEBE!! The Guitar work is Superb!! I feel like I have just walked into a watering hole and am being Welcomed!! Such songs have a promise for longer shelf life!! (and dance floor life!).I mean, this song will still sound fresh and new even after 5 years!

Big up!!

What Koffi has done is to help us move on once him,, Werrason,, JB and the likes of Wemba leave the music scene. I have to be honest,, these boys may not be that good but just this Koffi sebenes and vibes they got from their masters is doing some job. If u listen to mirage's talking thru the sebenes,, its just like Koffi n Felix Wazekwa. I dont know who will come out of BCBG and WMM to churn them out like this. Afande is trying too.....

I don't think Koffi has done anyone any favour, this boy Mirage did not start in Quartier Latin EMO,read above.I will post one song from Afande's first album INTIFADA,Mirage is talented,he's a natural singer and am shocked he has managed to shake things up in a solo career, his voice doesn't sound like that of an Orchestra owner or lead singer but he has done it.

You can here Mirage sing in Afande's song Bulldoser Kamul before he was stolen by Mopao

OK ....ye i know he was in Afande's G.A....but the sebene on Fig De Style is Koffi's style and its accompanying ''Shady Bally'' Call.

It's not Koffi style,Apocalypse created some of those calls whilst in QL and so did Mirage create the chant''shady bally''whilst still in QL,they own those calls not Koffi,it's like in a situation where Tutu Kaludji remixes the songs Guantanamo and Tshico Londonien and adds them in his new solo album, would you say they are JB's style,i don't think so,Tutu created them so they are his that's why you never hear JB sing songs authored by former members of his band, the likes of Koffi and Werrason however do that without care!
