I must say i am really impressed with the way in which Koffi Olomide populary known as Mopao is transforming his band. Most of his older band members have left to either pursue solo careers or settle in Europe doing session work.

Recently,Gesac Tshipoyi,an ataluku(rapper)joined Koffi's Quartier Latin Band.Tshipoyi initially was a member of Cultur' a pays vie,a band owned by Felix Wazekwa a reknown songwriter who has written some hit songs for Koffi Olomide.Tshipoyi seems to have settled in well at his new 'company' he looks healthy and well paid, look atthis clip, you can also check out the related clips associated with this concert clip!!

listen to the young ataluku with a rough voice(Mukusa Ya Mbua)and the drums by Tche Tche De Balle,on guitars their is Binda on Bass,Bourman on Rhythm and Mbetenge and Mystique alternating on solo and mi-solo!!

Koffi is guaranteed to come back hard)as we say it in the streets) Grin

He is definately hard on the atalaku just like Bill but my concern is on sebens QL will sound like Felix Wazekwa's band. Gezak hit man. He is anatalaku that fits well in hard sebens like WMM, QL and felix wazekwa

I feel Koffi has got himself where he needs to be in sebenes,Tche Tche De Balle has taken over drums again after the departure of Tytina.Listen to SWI,that is Tche Tche playing drums,he's hot and the combination of Gesac,Mukusa Ya Mbua will certainly move things in QL.
