Grand Pere Bozi seldom disappoints. He is one of the true greats. My favorite songs, though, were the ones he sang with Choc Stars and then with his Anti-Choc in the 80s and 90s. Some of these are among my all time favorites.

Spot on David,he is still coming back with fire though except maybe for poor marketing his last album Epanza would have shaken the Kin charts i just love his duets with the beautiful ladies that's what makes his music different from the rest,it's like Tabu Ley and Mbilia!

This is among my very favorite songs, quirky as it might be.
From the LP: CHOC STARS RETROUVAILLES A PARIS VOL.3

Enjoy! I've never seen this absolute GEM on any CD...

That is of course the great Djomali on bass. It will be a cold day in h*ll when any other bass player leads a sebene at all let alone with the skill and artistry you hear on Arlette Loukakou!

Where is this Djomali now,is he still with us or he's gone like the other big ones like Decca?

Binda is Koffi's Bass guitarist whilst Sunda is BCBG's bassist who was suspended,am not sure if his suspension has been lifted but some people say he's back in there though most of the BCBG clips i have seen of late show Ben J on bass but yes Sunda bass is slim and tall.
