They say animation or rap in Congolese music originated from Zaiko Langa Langa. They have been around for a very long time and have just released a new album entitled ''RencontreS'' here, listen to one song from the album

And here in concert, listen to that solo guitar, they say ''boyoka misapi'' Grin

Here is a link to the history of Zaiko Langa Langa headed by Jossart Nyoka Longo

If Nyoka ever retired from active singing ZLL would be no more. I am eager to get their new CD coz since 77x77, they have not impressed me that much. Poison was a little bit better.

I lost touch with them then when i wanted to give them another try by sampling 'Poison' i gave up coz i thought there music sounded the same'old days rhumba' but i feel there rhythm now especially the guitars.

ZAIKO WILL NEVER REACH THE HEIGHTS OF JE TEZ LEPONGE,, 77X77 AND I THINK THAT FACTION FAMILIA DEI SANG A VERY GOOD ALBUM WHICH I SAMPLED LONG TIME AGO ON TAPE. IT ALL GOES WITH THE DILUTION OF THE ORIGINAL BAND AS THEY DIE OR STOP SINGING OR THEY ARE POACHED. COZ DINDO YOGO AND NYOKA OR MALAGE WERE LIKE JB,, WERRASON AND BULA.
